About TUTAI

Luís has spent over a decade building AI products and leading data teams at scale. He is the Founder and Partner of ZAAI, where he leads large-scale AI consultancy projects for companies in retail, cybersecurity, fintech, and manufacturing. He also serves as Vice President of Data & AI at Marley Spoon, transforming business operations through advanced data science and machine learning.

Beyond TUTAI and ZAAI, Luís is the Cofounder of Nixar, a full-scale influencer-marketing platform for millions of small and medium-sized fashion brands, and the creator of Liftter, an AI platform for personal trainers. Previously, he cofounded HUUB, successfully leading it to acquisition by Maersk.

On the research side, Luís is a Ph.D. researcher at the AI&CS Lab at the University of Porto, with publications at top-tier conferences including AAAI and KDD. He is also the author of Deep Learning for Time Series Cookbook (Packt), a hands-on guide used by AI practitioners worldwide.
